🐦 James Comey is a disgrace to the FBI & will go down as the worst Director in its long and once proud history. He brought the FBI down, almost all Republicans & Democrats thought he should be FIRED, but the FBI will regain greatness because of the great men & women who work there!


Former FBI Director James Comey said Thursday that "it sure looks like" President Donald Trump had criminal intent to commit obstruction of justice during special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation.At a CNN town hall in Washington, Anderson Cooper asked Comey whether, based on the redacted version of Mueller's report on Russian interference in the 2016 election, he believed Trump had criminal intent to commit obstruction. "It sure looks like he did, in connection with a couple episodes -- the direction to (former White House counsel) Don McGahn to get the special counsel fired is to my mind a flaming example" of criminal intent, Comey said. _(from CNN)_

Trump on Thursday urged lawmakers to "keep working" on disaster aid legislation instead of voting for a bill put forth by Democrats, which he called "bad." The House is expected to vote Friday on an emergency funding bill that would disperse $17.2 billion in relief for recent tornadoes and wildfires as well as Hurricanes Florence, Michael, Harvey and Irma. It would also provide $3 billion more for flooding in the Midwest and other natural disasters. Should the measure pass the Democratic-led lower chamber, it would shift the focus to the GOP-led Senate, where lawmakers have struggled to reach an agreement on the stalled disaster aid package. _(from The Hill)_


🐦 Great news today: My Administration just secured a historic donation of HIV prevention drugs from Gilead to help expand access to PrEP for the uninsured and those at risk. Will help us achieve our goal of ending the HIV epidemic in America!


The Health and Human Services Department announced Thursday that California-Based Gilead Sciences Inc. has agreed to donate medications that reduce the risk of HIV transmission for up to 200,000 people a year. The pledge may last up to 11 years, said HHS Secretary Alex Azar. Gilead will donate its Truvada prevention pill until a second-generation version becomes available. _(From Star Tribune)_
