🐦 The reason for the China pullback & attempted renegotiation of the Trade Deal is the sincere HOPE that they will be able to “negotiate” with Joe Biden or one of the very weak Democrats, and thereby continue to ripoff the United States (($500 Billion a year)) for years to come....

🐦 ....Guess what, that’s not going to happen! China has just informed us that they (Vice-Premier) are now coming to the U.S. to make a deal. We’ll see, but I am very happy with over $100 Billion a year in Tariffs filling U.S. coffers...great for U.S., not good for China!

🐦 “The reality is, with the Tariffs, the economy has grown more rapidly in the United States and much more slowly in China.” Peter Morici, Former Chief Economist, USITC

Trump said Wednesday that China "broke the deal" in the ongoing U.S.-China trade talks. Speaking at a rally in Florida, the president attributed his recent threat of increased tariffs to Beijing's negotiating position. "By the way, you see the tariffs we're doing? Because they broke the deal. They broke the deal," Trump said. "So they're flying in, the vice premier tomorrow is flying in — good man — but they broke the deal. They can't do that, so they'll be paying." Over the weekend, Trump surprised markets by threatening in a Twitter post that he would significantly raise American levies on Chinese goods — with a first increase this coming Friday, and another "shortly." The president said trade talks with China had been moving "too slowly" as Beijing tried to re-negotiate. _(from CNBC)_

🐦 “Shouldn’t 2015 and 2016 be revealed, how Intelligence Agencies, FBI, tried to sabotage a particular campaign - never been done before?” [SteveForbesCEO] [MariaBartiromo]

🐦 “Everyone wants to know who needs to be accountable, because it took up two years of our lives talking about this Russian involvement. It proved No Collusion, & people want to trace it back to see how this all happened?” [ainsleyearhardt] [foxandfriends] TREASONOUS HOAX!

🐦 “This British Spy, Christopher Steele, tried so hard to get this (the Fake Dossier) out before the Election. Why?” [kilmeade] [foxandfriends]

A Democratic-led House panel on Wednesday approved a measure to hold U.S. Attorney General William Barr in contempt for refusing to hand over an unredacted copy of the Mueller report on Russian election interference even as President Donald Trump invoked the legal principle of executive privilege to block its disclosure. Throwing down another challenge to Trump, the House of Representatives Judiciary Committee voted to recommend that the full House cite Barr, the top U.S. law enforcement official and a Trump appointee, for contempt of Congress after he defied its subpoena for the complete report and underlying evidence. _(from Reuters)_

🐦 Real estate developers in the 1980’s & 1990’s, more than 30 years ago, were entitled to massive write offs and depreciation which would, if one was actively building, show losses and tax losses in almost all cases. Much was non monetary. Sometimes considered “tax shelter,” ......

🐦 ....you would get it by building, or even buying. You always wanted to show losses for tax purposes....almost all real estate developers did - and often re-negotiate with banks, it was sport. Additionally, the very old information put out is a highly inaccurate Fake News hit job!

🐦 Big Court win at our Southern Border! We are getting there - and Wall is being built!

Trump defended his real estate tax strategy saying his business was “entitled” to write-offs following a New York Times investigation that showed he reported losses of $1.17 billion between 1985 and 1994. “You always wanted to show losses for tax purposes,” Trump tweeted on Wednesday. “Almost all real estate developers did – and often re-negotiate with banks, it was sport.” The president was responding to a Times report showing his businesses generated huge losses and his hotel and casino properties were eligible for large depreciation write-offs that meant he paid taxes for only two years during that period. The report was based on tax records the newspaper said it had obtained. _(from Fortune)_

🐦 GREAT NEWS FOR OHIO! Just spoke to Mary Barra, CEO of General Motors, who informed me that, subject to a UAW agreement etc., GM will be selling their beautiful Lordstown Plant to Workhorse, where they plan to build Electric Trucks. GM will also be spending $700,000,000 in Ohio...

🐦 ....in 3 separate locations, creating another 450 jobs. I have been working nicely with GM to get this done. Thank you to Mary B, your GREAT Governor, and Senator Rob Portman. With all the car companies coming back, and much more, THE USA IS BOOMING!

GM later clarified that it is still in talks with Workhorse about a potential sale. _(from CNBC)_

🐦 Republicans shouldn’t vote for H.R. 312, a special interest casino Bill, backed by Elizabeth (Pocahontas) Warren. It is unfair and doesn’t treat Native Americans equally!

Trump urged House Republicans to vote against a bill that would end a legal challenge to the Mashpee Wampanoag tribe’s reservation in Massachusetts. Critics of the legislation, which is co-sponsored by Sen. Elizabeth Warren(D-Mass.), have dismissed it as a thinly veiled attempt to allow the tribe to build a casino. Democratic leaders put the bill on a fast track for passage, allowing it to come to the floor on Wednesday under a suspension of the rules, which requires a two-thirds majority for it to clear the chamber. The measure would terminate a years-long legal challenge to the tribe’s reservation by reaffirming the contested land belongs to it and barring future lawsuits challenging the claim. _(from The Hill)_

🐦 Our Nation grieves at the unspeakable violence that took a precious young life and badly injured others in Colorado. God be with the families and thank you to the First Responders for bravely intervening. We are in close contact with Law Enforcement.

One student was killed and eight others injured Tuesday in a shooting at a charter school in an affluent Denver suburb. Two suspects, both students at the school, were captured at the scene, authorities said. Two of the injured were listed in serious condition. The student who died was identified as Kendrick Castillo, 18, a graduating senior. Sheriffs officials said he helped stop one of the shooters. _(from CBS News)_

🐦 Big announcement today: Drug companies have to come clean about their prices in TV ads. Historic transparency for American patients is here. If drug companies are ashamed of those prices—lower them!

Pharmaceutical companies will have to reveal the price for many prescription drugs in TV commercials, under a new rule announced by the Trump administration Wednesday. The requirement is part of President Trump's efforts to crack down on drug costs — one of his few initiatives to earn wide bipartisan support. Under the rule, which is set to go into effect over the summer, drugmakers will have to disclose prices in ads for any medication that costs more than $35 for a month's supply. It's similar to the current requirement for drug companies to spell out a drug's side effects in TV ads. _(from CBS News)_
