Pence Met with Silence when Mentioning Trump in Munich Speech

Pence traveled to Germany in the week for the annual Munich Security Conference together with a bipartisan delegation, as well as Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and Sens. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), Christopher Coons (D-Del.) and Sheldon Whitehouse (D-R.I.).
The vp spoke at a reward ceremony on Fri for the first recipients of a scholarship commemorating the late sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.), who attended the conference various times.
In remarks on Fri, Pence knocked NATO allies who he aforesaid "still have to be compelled to do more."
"The u. s. expects each NATO member to place in situ a reputable attempt to meet the 2 % threshold. And, by 2024, we tend to expect all our allies to speculate 20 % of defense spending on procurement," he said.
