Jay-Z slams ICE for arresting 21 Savage

Hip-hop mogul, Jay-Z has reacted to 21 Savage's arrest by the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), who is detaining him after they discovered he is a British citizen living in the US illegally.

According to TMZ, Jay-Z said the arrest and detention of the "Bank Account" rapper is "an absolute travesty" and points out that his US Visa application has been pending for years.

Jay says: "In addition to being a roaring recording creator, 21 deserves to be reunited with his children immediately."
It was also confirmed that Jay-Z's company, Roc Nation has responded to what it calls a "matter of injustice" by hiring attorney Alex Spiro to assist with his case.

Spiro tells TMZ, "We are not going to stop until he is released, bonded out or in front of a judge ... What we have here is someone who overstayed their Visa with Associate in Nursing application unfinished for four years - not a guilty criminal that must be detained and removed however, by all accounts a wonderful person, father, and entertainer UN agency incorporates a marijuana offense that was vacated and sealed."

The gossip site also alleged that 21 actually had a visa permit pending for four years before he reapplied for his US Visa in 2017, which they claim must have led the authorities to do a background check that discovered his visa was expired before his arrest.
