INEC Releases Ballot Boxes Sample for Presidential, Senatorial, Reps Elections
The sample were posted in a tweet via INEC verified Twitter handle.
It showed prototype and colours of boxes to be used for the presidential, senatorial, House of Representatives elections on Saturday.
Meanwhile, the Inspector General of Police, IGP, Mohammed Adamu, has ordered a comprehensive water-tight and around-the-clock security for all INEC, offices and facilities across the country.
Adamu conjointly directed Commissioners of Police in all states and also the FCT to place in situ adequate security arrangements geared toward protecting all INEC offices and materials from all forms of crimes and mischief, before, during and after the elections.
FPRO, Frank Mba disclosed, in a statement, said Zonal Assistant Inspectors General of Police (AIGs) have also been mandated to monitor compliance level of Commands under their jurisdiction with this directive, and make sure that no breach of security of any kind happens among and around INEC facilities beneath their watch.
